Description

• The standard SOSS hinge has been modified to permit the inclusion of a 3/8″ baseplate and an easily adjusted spring
• The closer functions as both hinge and a closer, eliminating the need for an additional hinge
• Closer rate is completely adjustable after installation without removing the closer or any parts
• In retrofit applications, the mortise depth must be increased 3/8″ and one hole drilled to allow for the insertion of the spring into the door
• for door thickness up to 1-3/8″; one closer for every 75 lb. of door
• Made of heavy-duty zinc alloy castings
• Matching screws are included
